Belinda West BA. PGCE. PG Dip. Play Therapy. ACP. BPC
Belinda is a Tavistock trained Child and Adolescent Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist working with young people up to age 25 and their parents. She has had substantial experience of working with troubled children within the NHS Child and Adolescent Mental Service (CAMHS).
Before then Belinda worked within a Children’s centre, having had a background in early years teaching. She is also a qualified Play Therapist. She has a long-standing interest in the early years of children’s psychological development. She worked for the past five years within a school setting and was instrumental in setting up a Pupil and Student Support Service within this setting which offering pastoral support, supervision and clinical work to pupils and staff.
Belinda has a particular research interest in the impact of early bereavement and other traumas, including abuse and neglect, upon childhood development. She is interested in promoting emotional resilience in troubled children through the therapeutic relationship and process.
Belinda is a qualified adult Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist. She works within Cheltenham.
Joanna Duncan MA. BPC. BACP
Joanna is a Tavistock trained Child & Family Psychotherapist working with young people up to age 25 and their families. Whilst she is able to offer psychotherapy based on psychodynamic, developmental and systemic approaches, she is also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness. She likes to work closely with families to overcome challenges and to make meaningful changes in their lives.
She has over 25 years experience of working therapeutically with children and young people with complex emotional needs both in a specialist educational setting and more recently in the NHS CAMHS. She also works as a visiting lecturer for the Tavistock & Portman NHS Trust on their Postgraduate Course in Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health and Wellbeing.
She works within Cheltenham and Stroud.
Louise Pivcevic MA. ACP. BACP
Louise is a Tavistock trained Child and Adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapist currently working with young people up to age 25 and their parents within the NHS as well as privately. She has 13 years of working in a multi-disciplinary NHS mental health team. She has additional training in Mindfulness (MBSR), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and in working with couples.
Louise’s particular areas of interest are working with teenagers and young adults with identity and relationship difficulties including Gender Dysphoria (GID) and sexuality issues. Louise also has experience in providing support and consultation to parents and dyadic parent-child therapy.
She works within Bath Spa.
Stuart Hannah MA. ACP
Stuart is a Tavistock trained Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist with over 28 years experience working with parents, families and children aged 0-25. He works with all aspects of child and family mental health including anxiety, depression, family conflict, bereavement and loss amongst others. He has a previous training in social work.
He is also a Clinical Lecturer in work discussion, infant observation and leadership in residential childcare.
He works within Cheltenham, Stratford upon Avon and Birmingham.
